Start Swedish/Norwegian table!

In response to the requests of some customers, we opened a Scandinavian table in May 2015! It will be held every Monday from 6pm to 9pm.

We mainly use Swedish, but since Norwegian is similar, we will use a Nordic table together. (It seems that Danish is a little similar.)

A conversation table for Swedish people and those who already speak Swedish, and an introductory table for those who can't speak yet. We will prepare two. There are parts that are similar to English, and it seems that it is relatively easy to learn (I can't speak at all).

When I started the trial last Monday, there are 3 customers immediately!

スウェーデン語テーブルの様子

*The child in the photo has a Swedish book, but is Norwegian. I can also speak Finnish.

I don't know what will happen if I don't try it in the future, but for the time being, I'll try both the conversation table and the beginner's table. Due to the staff's convenience, we may not be able to have a beginner table in June, but it seems to be okay in July!

The staff is decided to be Stefan who is addicted to muscle training recently! When I asked if I had something to drink, I was told "protein". Yeah.

スウェーデン語スタッフ

Actually, he had an English staff only once about two years ago. A memorable Friday night. The next day I couldn't find an English staff member, and when I was at a loss and entered a beef bowl restaurant, he suddenly caught my eye. "Sorry, do you want to work part-time tomorrow?" "Seriously?

That was my encounter. I used to go back to Sweden, but this time I came back to Japan to study abroad again in April.

In addition, Sweden, I took a picture of a Scandinavian party that I had in March of this year. I bought 3kg of minced meat and made meatballs, baked the meatballs and ate the meatballs.

Swedish people are happy! Oh, I bought only Lingonberry jam at IKEA.

In addition to 5 Swedish people, many people participated. Some people who like metal participated in the race, and when I heard that it was a "Nordic night", I misunderstood it as a metal event! ? I was worried, but I was relieved that it was okay because I just like Scandinavia. (In response to your request, I played metal music hard.)

If you are interested in Northern Europe, we are waiting for you every Monday♪

  1. I don't know which one to contact, so
    I left a comment here.

I would like to visit and learn about welfare and education in Northern Europe.
Where do you hold study sessions and events for Scandinavian languages?

If you know anything, please let me know.

    Thank you.

      Mr. Nishida
We currently hold a Swedish table every Monday from 6am to 10pm. (It's not on the home page yet...)
Nordic events are held about twice a year. We will announce it on the homepage and facebook page at the time of holding.
      Please join us!

  2. Nice to meet you. I'm learning Swedish. I found this site when I was looking for a place to improve my Swedish.
I would like to participate, but do I need to make reservations in advance?
    Thank you for your cooperation.

I am sorry for the late reply, but I cannot make a reservation, so please come every Thursday between 19:00 and 23:00.
      Thank you.

  3. Nice to meet you.
Someone who wants to study in Sweden someday. I would like to get acquainted with a Swedish person when studying abroad, and I would like to visit your shop. I am still a junior high school student and can't speak Swedish. Is it okay to ask?

    Sorry for the strange Japanese.

      Hello, Thank you for comment.
I don't learn many languages other than English at school, so I think it will be difficult to participate if it is completely zero.
So it is recommended that you study the beginning part before you come to the store, but if you want to know the pronunciation and atmosphere
You can participate. But now (June 2020), due to the influence of the new Corona, the Swedish table is closed, so
Please check the website to see if it has been reopened.
      Thanking you in advance.
